Paano po mapapalitang ang aking surname na naka rehistro sa PSA. Kasi po ang naka rehistrong apelyedo ko po sa PSA ay apelyedo ng aking ina hindi po yung apelyedo ng aking ama. Kasi po sabi nila hindi pa po sila kasal ng ipinanganak ako kaya po apelyedo ng aking ina ang naparehistro sa NSO na PSA na po ngayon.

Kung kasal na po ang iyong mga magulang after your birth the process that will apply to you is legitimation para magamit mo ang apelyido ng iyong ama. Pumunta lang po kayo sa Civil Registrar kung saan nakaregister yong birth certificate mo at dalhin mo ang marriage certificate ng iyong mga magulang. The civil registrar will give you requirements to comply. Kung hindi naman sila kasal until now at gusto mong gamitin ang surname ng father he has to sign acknowledgment in the Civil Registry at kailangan din ng mother na mag execute ng affidavit to use the surname of your father.
