Ano ang misyon ni Quezon?

• Hindi inaprubahan ni Quezon at ng lehislatura ang Hare-Hawes-Cutting Act.

• Naglayag si Quezon patungong US noong Nobyembre 1933 upang isulong ang mas mabuting pagsasabatas ng panukalang batas para sa kalayaan.

• Nilagdaan ni US President Franklin D. Roosevelt ang batas noong Marso 24, 1934.

• Niratipikahan ito ng Pilipinas noong Mayo 1, 1934. Ang mga probisyon ng Tydings-Mcduffie Act ay halos eksklusibong sinipi mula sa Hare-Hawes-Cutting Act, maliban sa probisyon sa pagpapanatili ng U.S. ng mga istasyon at reserbasyon sa Pilipinas.

• Sa halip, itinatadhana ng batas ang diyalogo ng dalawang panig sa isyu pagkatapos na makamit ng Pilipinas ang kalayaan nito.
