Ako po ay nakatira dito sa US, yung girlfriend ko po ay nasa province sa Pilipinas. Manganganak na po siya ngayong pebrero pero di pa po ako makakauwi agad. Ano po ang mga kailangan/pwede gawin or mga options po namin sa situwasyon po namin na gusto po maapelyido ng anak namin yung apelyido ko (ako po ang ama), pero dahil dito po ako sa US ay di ko po mapipirmahan yung live birth certificate. May iba po bang ways or option po ba sa ganitong situation?
Uuwi naman po ako sa province namin at plano din po namin magpakasal as soon as paguwi ko po sa April/May kahit civil wedding po. Please help us with your advice on what are our options, at kung ano po ang dapat/pwede gawin at mga kailangan dapat/pwede gawin.

Kung ganun pumunta lang po kayo sa Civil Registrar kung saan nakarehistro ang bata doon po ninyo iprocess ang recognition/acknowledgment of paternity. Dahil hindi pa po kayo kasal kailangan din na mag execute ng affidavit to use the surname of the father form ang mother ng iyong anak. Marami pong mga requirements ang dapat ninyong icomply they will give for that at may corresponding payment din. If kasal na kayo legitimation process nalang later ang gagawin sa Civil Registrar lang din ipaprocess yan.
