Marry live-in partner

My partner and I are living together for 9 years. We cannot get married because he was already married 15 years ago. His wife is now living in Japan with her own family (she married a Japanese guy)... Pwede ba na gamitin ang MC nya with her Japanese husband to void yung kasal nila ng partner ko dito sa Pinas at para makapagpakasal kame?

Translation: My partner and I have been living together for 9 years now. We could not get married because he had been married 15 years ago. But his wife is now living in Japan, married to a Japanese guy and with their own family. Can the marriage certificate of my partner's wife and her Japanese husband be used to void or annull my partner's marriage, so we would be free to get married?

Let's see, your live-in partner was married to a Filipina. They separated and the Filipina married a Japanese citizen. Now, your partner wants to have his marriage annulled. Kaso, gusto niyang gamitin iyong marriage certificate nung dati niyang wife sa Japanese? Ganoon ba?

Naku, when a woman has two marriages, it is usually the first one that is valid and the second one is the one that is null and void.

So, stalemate.
