Ano po ang magandang gawin sa passport na hindi ko makuha dahil daw kailangan ko bayaran ang visa na inisue para sa akin? Wala pa naman pong mga papers ko ang naprocess maliban sa medical na ako rin ang nagbayad. Salamat po.

Hello, Bruce. Hindi masyadong klaro sa akin ang problema mo. Sino ang ayaw magbalik ng passport mo? Mukhang ang tinutukoy mo dito ay isang agency, ano? Bale, nag-apply ka. You submitted your passport at nagpa-medical ka na. Tapos, may nangyari? Ayaw mo nang ipa-process sa kanila ang iyong papeles? Kaya gusto mong bawiin ang iyong passport, ganoon ba?
Kung ayaw pa rin nilang ibalik sa iyo ang inyong passport, hamunin mo sila na ipakita sa iyo ang resibo nang pinagbayaran nila ng iyong visa. Doon mo malalaman kung talagang may nagawa na sila upang maikuha ka ng visa. Kung walang maipakitang resibo, ipa-blotter mo sa pulis. Kung gusto mo, gumawa ka na ng statement sa pulis sa katunayang ikaw ay pinipilit magbayad. Coercion kasi ang tawag doon. Kung gusto mong mas mabigat-bigat, illegal recruitment ang iyong isampang kaso. Ipa-xerox mo yung statement mo sa pulis at padalhan mo sila ng kopya. Pati POEA ay padalhan mo na rin ng kopya noong statement mo.
Kung gusto mo naman, dumeretso ka na sa prosecutor's office. Magpa-tulong kang gumawa ng complaint affidavit either sa PAO (Public Attorney's Office) o sa Office of Legal Aid ng University of the Philippines College of Law. Actually, kahit na ano'ng law school ngayon ay mayroon nang Office of Legal Aid na nagbibigay ng libreng serbisyong legal. Subukan mo.
Kung matigas-tigas ang loob mo, humingi ka ng tulong sa mga radio/ TV show tulad ng Imbestigador, Isumbong Mo Kay Tulfo. Kasi, magaling silang mangalampag. Good luck to you!
