Translation: My husband and I have been separated for 9 years now. We were married in civil rites, and now he has changed his religion to Islam (He is now a Muslim).

I would like now to annul our marriage. What legal process can I take? How is legal separation different from annulment? Can I marry again if I file for legal separation?

No, sorry, if you file for a legal separation, you can live separately from your spouse. You can have separate properties. You are still married to him, though. Your children will still be legitimate, and you still have a right to carry your husband's last name. You are still married, iyon na nga lang, you can live separately. You cannot remarry because a legal separation will not dissolve your marriage.

FOR FILE LEGAL SEPERATION MADALI LANG PO BA PROCESS NON, PWEDE PO BA AKO MAG FILE NG LEGAL SEPERATION KAHIT NASA IBANG BANSA AKO.
