OFW transferring to another country

I have an inquiry with regards t OFW transferring to another country. I am currently in the Philippines and is in process of preparing for the requirements of the OEC. However, when I went to POEA here in CDO to inquire about any further requirements to be accomplished, they only changed my contract information in BMonline and issued my OEC. I would like to ask if that would be okay or should I continue my processing with my agency. Thank you!

Hi, is that your first time to work in that country you want to transfer? If yes, then OEC issued via BMonline may not work well for you. It is actually used for returning OFWs with same employer/country or other circumstances allowed. I highly recommend to work with your agency to avoid any trouble in your future exit.
