Gusto ko lang po humingi ng panyo kung ano po ang magandang gawin kung may collecting agency po na nag email sakin para singilin ako sa bayad para sa credit card na hindi ko po na bayaran when I left KSA. Pwede naman po ninyo sabihin at makipagnegotiate na matigil maintime ang interest while wala pa talaga kayong pambayad. Actually, kung sa ibang bansa na utang yan wala silang jurisdiction na dito sa ating bansa kaya lang if my registered agent sila dito na magcollect maaring patuloy sila magpapadala ng demand letter from you. Try to save nalang ang ang lahat ng communication ninyo para atleast may maipakita na you tried naman to negotiate at wala kayong balak na takasan ito. The consequence of this is it will affect your credit record so by the time mag apply ka ng ibang loan maaring you will be denied dahil sa record ng hindi mo pagbabayad ng utang sa credit card.
I tried to negotiate ma'am but still nagbigay sila ng date ng deadline and here is the latest message: Please be reminder of your payment schedule which is due last January 25,2019.Kindly payment immediately to hold the legal action against you.If payment is made kindly send us the scan receipt.

Ma'am I kept on negotiating with them. Wala pa po kasi talaga akong mababayd pa sa ngayon. One of the personnel ng collecting agency even messaged my sister, I'm afraid na makaabot sa parents ko coz they don't know about this.

Its better not to reply anymore if nakipagnegotiate naman previously at walang pambayad pa sa ngayon. Demand letter is regularly written by a lawyer with conformity ng client. Huwag agad maniwala sa email lang lalo na ang pinagkautangan ay nasa ibang basa. Huwag nalang muna magreply sa ano-ano pang email. If possible mag ipon nalang ng pera para mabayaran ito to their duly authorized representative. If may registered agent sila dito at magpapafile ng kaso it is better to negotiate it in court than through email only.
