Paano nilitis at pinatay ang magkapatid na Bonifacio?

     Sa Naic, Cavite, nagtipon ang grupo ng Magdiwang. Ang Naic Military Agreement ay nilagdaan dito. Ipinahayag ni Bonifacio at ng mga miyembro ng Magdiwang ang pagbuo ng isang malaya at natatanging administrasyon mula sa pamahalaan ni Tejeros sa kasunduang ito. Nag-ugat dito ang tensyon sa pagitan nina Aguinaldo at Bonifacio.
     Sina Andres at Procopio Bonifacio ay inutusang habulin ni Aguinaldo. Napatay si Ciriaco Bonifacio sa sagupaan sa Indang, Cavite, at nasugatan sina Andres at Procopio. Nakulong din si Gregoria de Jesus, asawa ni Andrew. Sila ay dinala sa Maragondon, Cavite, upang humarap sa paglilitis.
     Ang mga kapatid ay hinatulan ng kamatayan ng konseho ng digmaan noong Mayo 6, 1897, kasunod ng mabilis na paglilitis. Sila ay napatunayang nagkasala ng pagtataksil at sedisyon at hinatulan ng kamatayan. Bagama't unang tinutulan ni Aguinaldo ang ideyang patayin sina Andres at Procopio, kinalaunan ay hinikayat siya ng kanyang mga katulong na panatilihin ang parusa upang malutas ang pakikibaka ng Katipunan at ipagpatuloy ang pag-aalsa. Ang magkapatid na Bonifacio ay dinala sa Bundok Nagpatong at pinatay noong Mayo 10, 1897.
