TRANSVAGINAL ULTRASOUND REPORT

 
The uterus is retroverted with smooth contour and homogenous echopattern measuring 6.0 x 4.1 x 3.1 cm (cervix measures 2.2 x 2.3 x 1.9 cm). The endometrium is hyperechoic measuring 0.9 cm with intact subendometrial halo.
 
The right ovary measures 3.3 x 2.3 x 2.7 cm. The left ovary measures 3.2 x 1.8 x 3.0 cm. Both ovaries have multiple anechoic cysts measuring
 
There is no free fluid in the cul de sac.

Sinasabi nitong transvaginal ultrasound report na ang pasyente patient ay may retroverted uterus. Tinatayang 20-30% ng mga kababaihan ang meron nito. Sa maraming kaso, hindi nagdudulot ito ng anumang mga sintomas o problema sa kalusugan. Ngunit sa ibang kaso, ang isang retroverted uterus ay maaaring magdulot ng pananakit, lalo na pag nakikipagtalik o pag may regla. Ang mga babaeng may retroverted na matris ay maaari ding makaranas ng mga problema sa pantog o bituka, tulad ng kawalan ng pagpipigil sa ihi o paninigas ng dumi. May mga bihirang kaso naman kung saan ang retroverted uterus ay maaaring magpahiwatig ng pelvic inflammatory disease o endometriosis.
Binanggit rin nitong report na may polycystic ovaries. Ang Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) ay isang karaniwang problema ng babae sa hormones. Kadalasang may irregular menstrual cycles o paiba-iba na regla ang mga babaeng may PCOS, at maaaring mahirapan mabuntis.
