I have a boil for a week now. I already went to a doctor and he prescribed me with cefadroxil antibiotics for 7 days which I have finished. In the span of 3 days, the boil became an abscess which drained out on its own. Since then I have been applying topical ointment fucidin. The abscess close now and now became like a lump of skin. it does not hurt anymore nor itch. However I observed that there is still inflammation around the area of the boil. In addition to this, i started seeing small pimple like bump below the boil. I have stopped taking the antibiotics since i finished the 7 day period. Im just concerned cause of this inflammation and pimple like bump that are still here

Good day!

Depending on the size of the pimple (accdg. to you it's small), I don't think it should really worry you. It will just resolve on its own.

Thanks!
