My friend ask me about holiday pay. Is he a monhtly paid employee? And if pumatak ng Sunday or Saturday yung holiday entitled po ba sya for a holiday pay?

This is the rule: when you are a monthly paid employee, the holiday pay is already included in the monthly pay.
So, sila mayroong holiday pay kung sila ay magta-trabaho during a holiday.
Ask a lawyer and show the lawyer your contract of employment para maliwanag.

this is from the ph po// meaning po ba is hindi sila entitled for holiday pay if papatak ng sunday(which is rest day nila) yung holiday, kahit na if you compute yung pay nila by the factor of 23.75 is bayad lang po sila every other saturday at hindi bayad yung sundays nila sa rate nila na 14ooo?

and if sabihin naman po ng company nila na bayad sila ng lahat ng sundays at saturdays, so ang computation po is 14000 multiply by 12(months) and divided by 365 (days), eh papatak po na around 460php lang daily rate nila which is below minimum here in manila, pwede po ba yung ganun na below minimum rate ang daily mo kung monthly paid employee ka?

thank you po.
