Anonymous is a caregiver in the Philippines

Ipina adopt ng kaibigan ko ang anak nya sakin 4 yrs ago. Dahil wala po ako alam sa pag aampon ipinarehistro ko ang bata under my name so lumalabas sa birth certificate nya ako ang magulang na nagsilang sa kanya. Gusto ko po iprocess sa legal ang lahat, Ano po ba ang dapat ko gawin?Please help po


Question: My friend had let me adopt her child 4 years ago. Because I did not know the adoption requirements and registration process, I registered the baby's name under my surname. So on the child's birth certificate, it shows that I am the mother who bore the child. Now I would like to process everything legally. What should I do?

Sa totoo, hindi mo na kailangan na i-adopt ang bata, kasi, noong pina-rehistro mo siya, ang inilagay mong mother ay sarili mo. Kapag nag-adoption ka pa, lalabas pa na you falsified public documents (certificate of life birth) and you simulated a birth (ibig sabihin you reported having given birth to a child which you did not give birth to).

Kung hindi ka naman ginigipit noong ina noong bata, for all intents and purposes, ang bata ay anak mo na. Please talk to a lawyer regarding possible legal issues that may result from having registered the child under your name as mother.

Thank you so much for your reply Atty. Hindi po ba ako makakasuhan if ever man? Kasi simulated po ang birth certificate ng anak ko or in the future kapag nalaman ng anak ko na inampon ko Lang sya pwede nya po ako idemanda.. Ano po maganda gawin?
