My legal husband is working in dubai uae government. Ako dto lng pinas ksma kids namin.last time ngcheck ako thru poea sweldo nya nsa 80kpHP.meron kmi tatlong anak isang first yr college 16yo 1st yr school 12 at gr4 10yo.lahat ng aaral.knasal kmi huwes march 1999 pa.lagi nya pdala ranges from 25k to 30k kada bwan.bhira umabot ng 30k.noong feb 2013 pndala nya 17k at di na ngprmdam. Wlang pdala march april and may 2013. Then june 2013 ngpdla 15k thru nanay nya cash.then july regular na uli pdala mnsan sa name nanay nya minsan sa anak ko mnsan skin.mula 2013 di n nya ako knkausap.kht emails ko dedma.nitong nobember 2015 di n naman ngpdla at nag email sa anak ko na pti sa january di mkakapagpadala.naconfirm ko na ngconvert na pala asawa ko ng muslim at ngpksal sa staff nya na pakistan babae na ktrbho nya rin.atty pls help us mag iina ano po ba dpt gawin? May habol pa ba ako kht muslim na sha? Gsto ko sha mparusahan at mgbigay sa tatlo naming anak.nag email pa sha na pag ngreklamo dw ako lalo kmi mwwalan last email nya sa anak ko nov.26 2015.

If your husband has converted to the Muslim faith, he is well within his rights to get another wife. He can, in fact, have four wives. Pero, the right is conditioned on the husband getting the consent of his first wife.

Wala ka nang habol doon kung nag-convert na siya. You will need to look for a lawyer who specializes in Shariah law so that you can know your rights as first wife. I am not a specialist in Shariah law.

Besides, under RA 7610, even if your husband contracts a marriage, he has obligations to his children. It is an act of child abuse not to send support especially for minor children. So, you need a lawyer
