Mahaharang ba sya sa port of entry?

Question: A married couple went to the United States using tourist visa. The husband went back to the Philippines after a few months, but the wife decided to illegaly overstay in the U.S. (the parents of the wife are U.S. citizens), become illegal immigrant. The question is, would there be any problems if the husband goes back to the United States using tourist visa? He does not have any plans of staying in the US, so he would just be going back and forth. But would he be blocked or denied entry at the port of entry?
