Naku, hindi ko alam ang mga batas sa Qatar. Hindi ko alam kung sila ay may bankruptcy laws. You will need to ask the Embassy in Qatar for assistance for your mother. Sa Pilipinas, may bankruptcy laws. Sa America may bankruptcy laws. Sa Australia, Canada at UK, meron din. Pero sa Qatar, hindi ko alam.

pangalawa, may mga debts na mara-write-off pero, may mga debt na hindi din mara-write-off, hindi lahat ng debts ay nara-write-off. It depends sa mga batas ng bansa. I cannot help you as I do not know the Code of Muslim laws in Qatar.

Subukan mong i-Google. Pero, kung Muslim laws kasi iyon, baka the privilege to file for bankruptcy can only be given to Muslims in Qatar, and not to OFWs who are not permanent residents or citizens in Qatar.

I hope you resolve this. I apologize for not knowing anything about this. This is not within my field of knowledge or experience. Kung sakali, mag-post ka ulit. Kasi, people should know all about this, if this is resolved. I will also try to do research on this so that I can give you some information.

Good luck!

Thank you for giving your time and consideration about my concern Atty. bimbi. Please let me know if you'll able to learn something about how can we help my Mom. Im deeply worried in what situation she's in right now to the point I'm having anxiety just having ideas what would happen to Mom if ever she'll be arrested such as Death penalty or being abused or raped by Qatari. My uncle and acquiantances experienced inhumane acts. Im so worried.
