May gumagawa po ba ng salpingectomy sa PH imbes na BTL? I'm 20 yrs old po (no kids) and sure po ako na ayaw ko po mabuntis and manganak dahil sa tokophobia at risk/complications ng panganganak. Gusto ko po sana magpaBTL pero mas gusto ko po na malessen ang chances ng ectopic pregnancy kung kaya't mas prefer ko na salpingectomy na lang ang procedure na gagawin (so imbes na tataliin ng tubes tatanggalin na lang). Mas mahal po ba ung procedure kung ganun at may gumagawa po ba nun sa pilipinas for sterilization purposes?

Hi! Hindi po nagpeperform ng salpingectomy kapag walang indications. At kahit ectopic pregnancy kailangan pa rin ng assessment ng OB-Gyne kung ano ang nararapat na procedure.

Hi i think you have to doscuss this thoroughly with your OB GYN because not all OB GYNS are good with doing permamnent sterilization especially sa mga kababaihan na may kabataan pa at never pang nagkaanak. Just like with the complications of pregnancy, mayroon din complications ang pagpapatali at pagoapaopera. Bit i suppose this operation may be done in the PH since this is a relatively simple procedure.
