Tuloy po ako ng pag inom ng Emzomeprazol once a day before dinner at ng Gaymotin 3 times a day.

Translation: I was diagnosed with Peptic Ulcer and gallstones. I had surgery on gallstones afterwards. But until now I still feel squeamish during early mornings and I end up not being able to sleep.

I still take Emzomeprazol, once a day before dinner and Gaymotin, 3x a day. But I still feel the same, but not so often anymore. Sometimes I feel well for 3 to 4 days. But when it strikes again in the early morning, I just burp it to make it go away. When I lie down to continue sleeping, the pain comes back, so I would need to stand up and burp. Hope you can help with any advice.

Thanks for your question.

Such abdominal pain which often occurs in the early mornings and which is worsened by lying down is most likely indicative of an acute worsening of the peptic ulcer. However, other possibilities such as complications of the gallbladder surgery and involvement of the pancreas need to be ruled out.

Therefore, i suggest a prompt visit to your doctor for a thorough abdominal examination and investigations to determine the cause of this pain and commence appropriate treatment.

I hope you get better soon.
