PTB, Bilateral Activity Undetermined.


Maari po bang mahawaan ng taong mayroong PTB (Bilateral Activity Undetermined) ang mga kasama niya sa bahay? Ang katabi niya sa pagtulog at ang taong gagamit ng kubyertos, plato at baso na ginagamit niya?


Anu-ano po ba ang mga paraan upang hindi makahawa ang sakit na ito?

Ang PTB undetermined activity ay nangangahulugang may nakaraang active TB ang pasyente ngunit itoy nalunasan sa patuloy na paginom ng gamot. Maari ring hindi ito nadetect noon ngunit itoy tuluyang gumaling. May mga scars o lamat ng sugat ang posibleng nakita sa mga lobes ng baga. Ang pinakamagandang gawin ay muling ipatingin sa doctor para matest kung aktibo parin ang TB ng pasyente. Ang face mask sa pasyente ay mabisang pangiwas sa paghawa ng miyembro ng pamilya. Nararapat ding patibayin ang resistensya ng buong pamilya sa pamamagitan ng pagkain ng prutas, gulay at pagpapainom ng supplements gaya ng Zinc, Vit C etc. Mainam na ring ipatingin ang buong pamilya para masuri. Hindi mahal ang mga test na ito kaya wag kang matakot magpakonsulta. Balitaan mo ako.

Hi Jeffrey! Puwede kang pumunta sa pinakamalapit na TB-DOTS sa inyong lugar at magpakuha ng Sputum Exam ng tatlong beses. Sundin lamang ang kanilang directions kung paano ito kunin at kung kelan ka dapat bumalik. Magpacheck-up na rin sa iyong doctor kapag may results na at maagapan ang pagsusuri sa iyo.
