Anti-Tethanus, rusty metal nail, tetanus shot, will I get infected?

Last Sunday Feb 15, 2015 po aksidenteng nabagsakan yung paa ko ng kahoy na may pakong nakausli na may kalawang... Pero last December 18, 2014 po ang huling anti-tethanus ko.. Safe parin po ba yun?


Translation: Last February 15, 2015, a piece of wood with a rusted nail fell on my foot. But last December 18, 2014, I had my last anti tetanus vaccine shot. Am I still safe from tetanus infection?

Hello. Sana okay ka na ngayon. Kumusta na ang sugat? Safe naman ang sugat mo kung ang huling anti-tetanus shot mo ay Disyembre ng nakaraang taon pa. Kung pangatlong turok ka na ng anti-tetanus, ibig sabihin ay safe ka sa mga susunod na 5 hanggang 10 taon. Kung hindi pa umaabot sa 3 beses ang bakuna mo, hinihimok kitang ituloy ang mga susunod mong vaccination schedules. ( 1st shot, wait for 1-2 months for 2nd shot, wait for 6-12 months for the last shot)
