2nd degree hemmorhoids

Hemmorhoids 2nd degree. Bleeding when using the toilet. Doctor suggested a surgery, but I want to make it the last option.

There are some ways that you can do in order to prevent it from progressing further like keeping yourself hydrated in order to minimize constipation and straining. Not lifting heavy objects will also reduce abdominal pressure which would again lead to the symptom you mentioned. However, these options will only prevent the condition from getting worse and not cure it. Surgery, as advised by your attending physician is the treatment for this so I will also advise that you do what your doctor says.
