Congratulations on your new child. You ask for particular vitamins for weight gain that are safe while breast feeding. Breast feeding is a very demanding time for every woman. Your solutions is not as simple as taking extra tablets. I will advise on taking these simple steps:

1. Increase your calorie intake by approximately 500 calories per day over what you eat normally. This will be done by adding high-calorie nutrient dense foods to your diet. Just a honey and peanut butter sandwich alone will give you approximately 350 calories.

2. Add whole grain bagels and breads, pastas, potatoes, sweet potatoes, olive oil, avocado, nuts, dried fruits and whole yogurt.
