Cholesterol of 280 mg, SGPT of 99

Im male 28 years old with height of 5'8" and weight of 93 kilos (obese based on bmi baseline). I took blood chem test.This is the following results i obtained:


11-15-2016

Cholesterol of 280 mg/dl,triglycerides of 350 (2x above normal limits) and SGPT of 99 (2x above normal limit)


11-16-2016 up to Jan 28,2017 = I took Lipway 250 mg and after 2 months i repeated the test and the results are never changed (it same high result i obtained after taking lipway 250 mg medication)

What is the causes of this ineffective statin drugs to lowering my cholesterol and triglycerides??Pls reply thank u!!

Several factors may lead to the result you are getting

1. Underdosed medications (Kindly check with your doctor for correct dosage)
2. Compliance issues with taking the medicines
3. Diet and Exercise issues

Doc, ngtest sya sa lipase 2x upper limit but normal amylase, ultrasound normal dn ang pancreas but for almost 3 months medication of lipway 250 mg hnd pa rin nagbabago ang trigly 300mg/dl+ pa rn anu dhilan doc gusto hmhngi s inyo ng second opinion??
