Translation:My vagina is itching/itchy. I went to see OB gyne, and I was prescribed suppository and ointment (Dermovate). After applying the medications, the itchiness was healed, but it came back after I had my menstruation.

It's been 7 months since then. My vagina/genital area is itchy, reddish, prickly and sometimes painful such that I cannot work well. It looks like the skin is peeling and there is reddishness around my vagina.

What should I do? Should I consult a dermatologist? My blood sugar is normal and I just had my pap smear last September. What should I do so that this would go away? It's hard and I'm losing confidence in myself.

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)is common among females. It occurs due to not maintaining hygiene around your vagina. Get a culture and sensitivity test done for your vaginal swab and then go to a good gynae for appropriate antibiotics and other medicines.Do wash your vaginal area with water after every pee and then dry it with tissue paper. Change your panty 4-5 times in a day. drink 10-12 glasses of water in a day. Avoid having sex during the infectious stage and during normal days after having intercourse, wash your vagina with vaginal washes like V-wash etc. Also, ask your husband to maintain hygiene before having intercourse.
PID is difficult to treat but if all measures are taken, you can win. all the best

Translation: PID? But I don't have smelly discharge. Is it normal for a woman to have this? I'm worried. Is this something serious?

At night it is really itchy and I can't help scratching. I don't have any disease based on medical test results. I also have just one sexual partner and we haven't had sexual intercourse since November.

This only started when I shaved my pubic hair. The reddishness has spread to my vagina. So if you could see it, you would see my entire genital area is reddish. What medication could I use to cure this? A medicine/medication that can effectively cure this for good. I'm really having a hard time. Thank you

Its not necessary that you have smell in discharge in PID.And it is not very serious problem,it's just that it takes time to go off. You can get medicines from a good gynae after culture and sensitivity test.

Translation: Based on research on the Internet, this could be vulval problem or Eczema. Is it normal to have Eczema on the genital of a woman? How can this be prevented and cured? Is it effective to use hydrocortisone even without prescription from doctor? Which is more effective, Hydrocortisone or Dermovate? Should I go see a dermatologist?

Could be. But its not very common disease. It can he prevented by not using chemical products for shaving or cleaning. Those who have sensitive skin should be more conscious about the products they are using. There are medications available for eczema. You can use 1% hydrocortisone for symptomatic relief.A skin specialist can prescribe you proper medications to you.
