Good afternoon po. Yung itatanong ko po possible po bang may remedy yung warrant of acquittal, possible po bang ma reverse yung decision ng court? Kasi po yung tenant nmin sinampahan namin ng kaso ng qualified theft kasi pinutol nla yung gemilina trees sa lupa na pinabantayan nmin without permission sa amin ngayon po ang decision ng korte they  acquitted yung tenant kasi hindi daw namin na prove na without the consent of us yung pagputol. Now yung pagputol ng puno we reported it sa CENRO.dun din sa certification of finality, the defendants, which is yung tenant they admitted it that they did not ask permission when they cut the gemelina trees. They said it by themselves. I believe po na merong foul itong case. Thank you po.

Una po sa lahat, ito ay isang criminal case. AT sa isang criminal case, kapag ang isang akusado ay acquitted na, hindi na puedeng i-reverse pa ang acquittal kasi po, meron pong karapatan ang mga akusado that they cannot be prosecuted twice for the same offense.

Ibig sabihin, kung sila'y acquitted na, kapat inapila ninyo ang order ng husgado na sila'y pawalang-sala, ang mangyayari noon ay parang nililitis silang muli. Kaya po hindi na puedeng i-apila ang acquittal. kahit na may foul play pa sa acquittal nila.
