Typically ang Menstrual Cycle ng isang babae ay 25-32 days, average ay 28 days. Ang pagbilang ay mula sa unang araw ng iyong huling regla. Day 1-7 (madalas 3-7): pagreregla ng kababailhan Day 8-12: ang paghahanda at pangangapal ng matres para sa posibilidad ng pagbubuntis. Day 14 (day 12-16): ang ovulation o paglabas ng itlog mula sa obaryo. Ito din ang panahon kung saan ang babae ay matuturing na fertile o maaring magdalang-tao kung nakipagtalik sa mga araw na ito. Day 17 onwards: ito ang panahon kung saan maaring mangapal pa ang matres kung ikaw ay nabuntis OR ang panahon na ang namuong dugo ay magsisimulang numipis kung ikaw ay hindi nagbuntis at niregla. Kung bibilangin ang araw ng iyon pakikipagtalik, ito ay naganap sa mga panahon na hindi ka fertile kaya mababa ang chance na ikaw ay mabuntis
