I've read on the internet na during ovulation, the cervix is soft. I have an app that determine when I'll get my next period and when I'll ovulate and it's pretty accurate. I'm also checking my cervix almost everyday, however, hindi ko pa naranasan na ma feel yung cervix ko na soft, it's always firm, partially open, and very open, high and sometimes low whenever na eche-check ko siya. What does this mean? Bakit always firm yung cervix ko at never ko na feel na it's soft.

It's worth mentioning that the texture, position, and openness of the cervix can vary from person to person and even throughout the menstrual cycle. Generally, a softer cervix is often associated with ovulation or pregnancy, while a firmer cervix might be present during non-fertile times or after menopause. Hormonal fluctuations during the menstrual cycle usually contribute to these changes.

If you're consistently finding that your cervix is firm despite using an app to track your cycle and expecting it to be soft during your fertile window, it could be due to various factors. These may include hormonal imbalances, age-related changes, or other medical conditions that only a qualified healthcare provider could diagnose accurately.

If you have concerns about your reproductive health, fertility, or menstrual cycle, it would be best to consult with a medical professional for personalized advice. This is especially important if you're trying to conceive or have any other health concerns related to your reproductive system.
