Ano ang “HUKBALAHAP”?

• Noong Marso 29, 1942, nabuo ang Hukbong Bayan Laban sa Hapon (HUKBALAHAP), na kilala rin bilang "Huk."

• HUKBALAHAP ang pinakamalaking grupong gerilya sa Pilipinas.

• Maraming kababaihan ang nakibahagi sa kilusan.

• Naging kasangkapan ito para sa pagkakaisa ng mga magsasaka sa Tarlac at Pampanga, gayundin isang paraan para lumaki ang HUKBALAHAP bilang isang makapangyarihang kilusang gerilya sa Gitnang Luzon.

Ipinatupad ng HUKBULAHAP ang mga sumusunod na patakaran:
-paglalagay ng mga hakbang upang matulungan ang mga magsasaka sa pagkakaroon ng sapat na pagkain at paglaban sa mga Hapones
- pagkondena sa administrasyong iniluklok ng mga Hapones ng Pilipinas
- Patayin ang mga Hapon sa pamamagitan ng pagtambang sa kanila.
Matapos ang labanan, ang Hukbalahap Veterans' League, sa pamumuno ni Castro Alejandro, ang pumalit sa kilusan.
