Ang salitang "Dinagyang" ay nagmula sa salitang Hiligaynon na "dagyang," na nangangahulugang "pagdiriwang" o "pangyayari." Ang "Dinagyang Festival" ay isang kilalang pistang ipinagdiriwang sa Lungsod ng Iloilo sa Visayas, Pilipinas. Ang pista ay kilala sa kanyang masiglang parada, mga sayaw at musika, at makulay na kasuotan na nagpapakita ng kagandahan at kultura ng rehiyon. Ang Dinagyang Festival ay isa sa pinakapopular na pistang ipinagdiriwang sa Pilipinas at patuloy na nagbibigay-pugay sa kasaysayan at kultura ng mga katutubong Aeta o Ati na dating naninirahan sa rehiyon.
 
Ang Dinagyang Festival ay nagsisilbing pagpapakita ng kasiyahan at pagdiriwang ng mga taga-Iloilo sa kanilang kasaysayan at kultura. Ito ay nagbibigay ng pagkakataon sa mga lokal at dayuhang bisita na masaksihan ang kagandahan ng kultura ng rehiyon at makaranas ng masayang pagdiriwang. Ang pista ay nagpapakita ng pagkakaisa at pagmamalasakit ng mga taga-Iloilo sa kanilang kasaysayan at kultura, at patuloy na nagbibigay-buhay sa tradisyon ng mga katutubong Aeta o Ati.
