    Isang bahagi ng kultura na nagpapakilala sa isang bayan ay ang mga natatanging produkto at pagkain nito. Ito ang mga bagay na madalas bilhin ng mga turistang bumibisita at ipinapasalubong sa kanilang mga kamag-anak.

     Ang kabuhayan o produkto ng isang komunidad ay direktang nauugnay sa mga salik sa kapaligiran. Halimbawa, ang malalaking sakahan ng bonito sa Bicol ang dahilan kung bakit karamihan sa mga residente ng rehiyong ito ay nagtatrabaho sa paggawa ng kopra, na ginagawa sa pamamagitan ng pagpapatuyo ng laman ng buko para lumikha ng mantika. Ang Bicol Express, isang uri ng ginataang karne at laing (ginataang gulay), ay sumikat sa Bicol.

Ilan sa mga halimbawa ng sikat na produkto/pagkain sa iba’t ibang panig ng Pilipinas ay ang:
1.      Dinengdeng, Empanada, at Bagnet ng Ilocos
2.      Pili ng Bicol
3.      Lechon ng Cebu
4.      Buko Pie, panutsa, at Lambanog ng Laguna
5.      Durian ng Davao
6.      Kakanin ng Rizal
7.      Lansones at Mangga ng Camiguin
8.      Piyaya ng Iloilo
9.      Pinya ng Bukidnon
10.  Kasuy at suman ng Antipolo
